Health Council SubcontractorsThe Bernalillo County Community Health Council provides a small amount of funding to four subcontractors throughout the County. In October of 2005, we released an RFP for non-profits that are working towards one of our two priorities of teen pregnancy prevention and access to health care. Based on the proposals submitted, the four subcontractors we chose to fund include Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless, Community Coalition for Healthcare Access, Southwest Improvement Council, and Young Women United. The Council is honored to have representation from these groups coming to our meetings and reporting on their activities.
